Thibaut and Tondé are helping with the construction of the new bouldering wall at François Petit's Mur de Lyon
Florian, Tondé, Carole and Laurent Z. will be resetting all the route at the Paris 13 University in Bobigny. They will be following the educational guidlines requested by the teachers who use the wall for their classes.
Thibaut, Florian, Carole et Laurent Z. will be in Eindhoven for a fat setting session @ Monk. Their mission will be to set three cricuits, one beginner, one intermediate and one competition level circuits for a total of 70 problems.
François Petit general manager for Lyon's largest climbing wall, Le Mur de Lyon, called us in to set 8 new routes between the grades of 5b and 7c.

Skills
The team at l'Ouvre-Boîte was braught together by the desire to improve indoor climbing through good setting. Some of us are trained climbing instructors, others are certified national or regional routesetters, skilled handymen, coaches, climbers, boulderers, some are all of the above, but we're all driven by good climbing born of good setting. The more experienced of us have been setting for 10+ years in France and abroad. Find out who we are.
Keep the climbing at your gym alive
Work with us to set up a regular rotation of routes and/or boulders at your gym. At regular intervals a member of our team will come and put up new and original routes for your climbers to enjoy.
There are as many styles as there are setters, so it's up to you to switch eveytime or keep the same one.

Route setting courses
Hire a Chief Route Setter
During a setting session the Chief Route Setter is in charge of the coordination of all the people working for the session.
It's his or her role to ensure that all work is done in safe conditions for everyone, but also to test-climb all routes set to suggest improvements and appropriate grades. Take advantage of our experience to improve and streamline your setting habits.
Route setting courses
Our 1 to 5 day courses are tailored to meet the needs of your staff and include basic safety training, the general management of a setting session, and various techniques to help make routes more user friendly and interesting.
Take advantage of a setting session or a competition on your wall to give the less experienced route setters at your gym a course.

Competitions
Setting for competitions
Competition setting has very different goals from regular setting in a gym. It's a lot less empathetic and tends to be a lot more spectacular.
Be it a World Cup or a friendly contest, let us be a part of the team to help make it a great event. The wager may vary, but for us, the enjoyment (and sweaty palms!) are always the same.
